The UK could join a European Union equity investment fund for startups worth 4 billion euros ($4.65 billion) this year, the EU Commissioner for startups Ekaterina Zaharieva told the Financial Times in a report published on Tuesday.
Zaharieva said the move was in the 'mutual interest' but would require a treaty change to reverse a UK decision to opt out of participation, according to the report.
欧盟初创企业事务专员叶卡捷琳娜·扎哈里耶娃向英国《金融时报》表示，英国今年有望加入一只规模40亿欧元（约合46.5亿美元）的欧盟初创企业股权投资基金。
